Although it's a bad way to show Christ, at least it's not a pentecostal church this time!

I'm Back...again!

Orlando, Florida was a blast! The only set back was that we didn't have enough time to spend there. A friend of mine and her family were planning a trip to FL. My friend wanted me to meet her cousin who was going to be meeting them there in Florida. So she asked me if I wanted to go, I said yeah, and so at 11 PM Sunday night, I began packing for Florida. We left Monday morning at 6:30 AM! We stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel, which was actually tons of fun even for us older folks. We went to Epcot, Downtown Disney, and did a little shopping also. ***************** The whole church split thing is going full force. It's gotten really ugly actually. Several people have begun posting comments anonymously on my blog and other friends blogs with rude comments. I feel really bad for these people. Post Election Sadness

This is why I’m upset – Not because Trump won.  He had a 50/50 chance.  I would have been disappointed with Hilary Clinton too.  Why I’m mad is because people who claim to be Christ followers, Christians, honestly believe that the President-elect is a fellow believer. I’m shocked.  I’m stunned.  Most importantly, I’m saddened. If you think that he was the “lesser of two evils”, I can understand.  If you thought that maybe his erratic policy would shake things up, I can understand that too.  But if you honestly think that this man is a Christian, well, that I can’t understand. This man joined the Republican Party which stands for “pro-life” and “anti-gay” policies, and perhaps, you consider those Christian qualities.  But that does not make a Christian.  This man, our President-elect, has multiple marriages, has on numerous occasions spoke derogatorily against other races and gender, and has performed numerous shady, corrupt busin...

Where? When? Here! Now!

Where did the church (as a whole) go wrong? When did we start to think that God blesses us to store it all up? Why did we think it is ok to hold on to what God gave us? Why aren't we giving out of our abundance ? Why aren't we helping the unfortunate at every turn? Instead we are praying "God bless me. God send this to me. God I need." Then when He provides we hold on to it for dear life as if He is not the owner of the cattle on a thousand hills, as if He doesn't have more where that came from. I've found that God is big enough to supply us with lots. Then when we've given to everyone we can find, we still have tons left over. I've found that God can take 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread and feed 5000 with plenty to spare. Why does the church think they are the final say on salvation?
