This Year's American Idol is.....

"Vengence is Mine!" saith Kimberly! Taylor WON!!!!!!!!! SOUL PATROL!!!!!

Happy Monday to Me!

What a crappy day this is turning out to be. Something tells me it's going to get worse. So on top of my undying love saga, now I'm just hacked! Selfishness. The worse part about being selfish -- other people suffer. When someone's selfish, he/she doesn't just effect themselves. He/she ends up hurting everyone else. Connivers. They work their magic until they get what they want. The problem is again, they end up hurting everyone. Innocent bystanders get hit, kicked, and slammed in this process. Idiots. Well idiots shouldn't be allowed to breed. Any child that shows signs of being an idiot should be locked up away from society. I can't stand these 3 types of people. Put them altogether, and I really blow a fuse. Selfish, Conniving, idiots. Do they realize that on their mission to get what they want, they are destroying other's relationships, other's dreams, other's welfare? No, because they are so wrapped up in themselves. How does one stand there oh

What Hurts the Most

I've got that churning deep in my stomach...I need to vomit. No, it's not the Mexican food I ate last night; it's the news I just received about an old ex-boyfriend. Let's start from the beginning. When I was 16-17 years old, I dated a guy, Mooch. Even though I was young, I can say that I did honestly love Mooch. Unfortunately, Mooch broke my heart into tiny, tiny pieces. It took me an extremely long time to recover from the heartbreak, and even today a dull ache still lingers. There isn't a month that goes by that I'm not reminded of him in some way. Lately, there hasn't been a day. An extremely good friend who was there during my relationship with Mooch had a dream about him. Mooch had told me a year or two ago that he was getting married. In my friend's dream, Mooch was getting a divorce and had come back to see me. We all kind of laughed about it, and then someone asked me what I would do if that happened. I got quiet, looked down, and then sadly spo

American Idol? I think NOT!

Let it be said, American Idol is rigged! I've always thought this, but I know for sure this season, it's true! First, have you ever noticed that they pick certain people to do "stories" about. Somehow 99% of those people end up making it to the top 12. Amazing they have such an accurate record, considering that the shows choosing the top 12 is not pre-recorded? Hmmm?? Have the producers already decided who they want to be the top 12? Secondly, the whole Chris exit . Please, everyone in America wanted Chris to win. Everyone knew Chris was going to win. Personally I think there was some talking going on with him and the producers, he got a good offer and asked to be kicked. I have no proof of that, but it sounds good. I mean, come on, everyone knew Chris was going to win. This week, it was down to Taylor, Katherine, and Elliott. On Wednesday's episode of Good Morning America, they showed footage of both Taylor and Katherine, but didn't of Elliott. Did they kn

A Big Question gives a Bad Answer

Ninetyandnine.com's Big Question for this week is "What's the best thing about living for God..." I was fixing to answer the question, when my answer startled me. I'm an honest person, but sometimes, my honesty frightens me. Today was a prime example. My answer was "The best thing about living for God is when all else fails, I can turn to God." It's sad because that's my honest answer. I truly try everything and anything else to fix a problem before I turn to God. Therein lies all my problems. I have trust issues. I've always known that I have problems letting go of situations, but to actually know that I only view God as a last resort is scary. How do I fix that?? I have no answer for that...

Dating or No Dating?

I ran across 2 articles this past weekend. One is for the girls, the other for the guy. " 5 Women Every Guy's Gotta Date " and " 5 Guys Every Girl's Gotta Date ." The list was a little amusing to me, but it seemed like it may be true. Yet, I'm not too sure it applies to me. This article is more for people who date around. These type of people date others not necessarily thinking about the future. They just date them because they like them. I'm not that kind of a person. I've only dated one person in which I wasn't thinking about the future. I was 15 then. The other guys I've been dated or been interested in, I did while contemplating a future with him. Obviously, I was wrong, but I never would have given them another thought romantically if I didn't think they had the potential to be my husband. The next time I seriously date a guy, I hope him to be "the one." I'm not too interested in exploratory dating. This article te

Must Reads!

Here's a list of a few books I think everyone should read before dying: The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson -- A good friend of mine just recommended this book to me. I'm only half way finished with it, and it's already impacted my life. The book is 2 part: first, a parable and then an explanation of that parable. It's about discovering and achieving your Big Dream. For Such a Time as This by Lisa Ryan -- I read this book about 4-5 years ago. It applies the story of Esther to girl's everyday life and encourages us to remember we are daughters of the King, princesses! (Guys may not enjoy this book, but it's a must for girls.) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee -- Sometimes important life lessons must be learned at a young age. In life, you have to stand up for the right, even if you're the only one standing. A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks -- True love does exist, even if it's only for a short time. There are people that will impact your life

It's not over til it's over....Is it??

Have you ever played a game, solitaire for instance, and you've run out of options. Yet you want so bad to win, you keep going through all the cards, re-examining everything, looking for one last move you may have missed. You just hate to give up and call it quits? There are other games like monopoly, where you've just landed on Boardwalk with 3 houses, and you know there's not near enough money to cover the bill. This is when a bit of negotiation comes in. You offer $100 and throw in Madison Avenue which your opponent keeps landing on almost every turn. You're too involved to just give in and say game over. There's still some options left, right? I'm ready to negotiate. I'm not ready to give up the fight. I can't say game over. I refuse to fold and show my cards. I've got way too much invested in my sorrow. It may not be the best place, but this is my cold, dark road . Somehow I got here, and You haven't helped me now. Why should I
