It's Not Over!

Did you really think you would win? Did you think that this would destroy us? Did you think we would be knocked out so easily?

Well if you did, let me fill you in. You've lost. We are victorious. We are not destroyed. No, we are unified. We may have been knocked down, but we are getting back up. This is not the end for us. Oh no, we are much stronger than you think.

Cuz, see, the battle is not ours, but it's the Lord's. He is mighty to save us. You are not messing with us, but you are messing with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. His power is unmeasurable. He is undefeated, now and forever.

So laugh all you want. Do your victory dance. We will soon be the ones laughing and dancing. What you meant for our bad, God is working out for our good. There may be some scars after the battle, but we will still be whole in spirit. When the smoke clears, we will be the ones arising. Your misery has only just begun.

Micah 7:8 "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me."

Very interesting! That was a very deep thought. Satan thinks he has us alot of times, but he just doesn't know, like you said, that what he tries to do to harm us, God changes it to bring good from it, that we might be overcomers. That is an awesome blog.

Jesus has a way of using people. I know he uses drunks to minister a word sometimes, but I didn't know that he used witches.

To quote a remarkable young lady (kim) The battle is not ours it is the Lord's!! I encourage you Kim to keep up your awesome attitude and support of things true and pure, in kindness you have shown you can disagree and still love those who attack you. You have not resorted or sunk down to the level of this "anonymous" obviously confused and misguided writer.

The Hurt and The Healer...Collide!

So the other day I simply prayed "God, if you aren't going to restore this relationship, help me move on.  I'm ready to be through with this."  A few hours later I had an email from him saying "I'm moving on.  If you want to discuss this, we can, but after that I can't speak to you anymore.  I need to make some decisions with a clear conscious."  And that was it.  Couldn't get more final than that!  Maybe if the email had come a few days or a week later.  But no, there was no mistaking this answer from God.  "You asked for it...poof!"  And there it was...the answer to what I had been praying for since September.  I'm not sure what made me pray that prayer that way on that day.  I'm not sure what made God answer the prayer with an email that quickly.  But whatever the reason, there was no denying that it was God. And of course, it wasn't the answer I wanted.  It was infuriating.  Why now God?  Why answer this prayer now?

The Next Chapter

My pastor decided to resign this morning. Instead of forcing anyone to vote yes or no against the ministry, he resigned. Those of us in support of his ministry left the Greenville United Pentecostal Church and are starting a new work, Grace Apostolic Fellowship. Our first service this morning was held at a local funeral home. After all the jokes about raising the dead, etc, we ended up having a great service with 97 people in attendance. We are believing God for a permanent home in the next 30 days. I am sad to leave UPC. That church was a haven to me during a hard time in my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today without many of the people there. Numerous people invested in me, and I am grateful. I will never forget the love, friendships, and lessons I learned while a member there. I will not belittle my past with bitterness and act as if it means nothing to me.
